A radiant barrier is a thin, reflective foil that blocks radiant heat by reflecting the heat away from the building or back toward its source. As a result of this, radiant barriers help to increase the energy efficiency of buildings by preventing the majority of the sun’s UV energy from heating up the building.

To test electrical receptacles, we can use multimeters, non-contact voltage detectors, three-light testers, circuit analyzers, etc. They each have their pros and cons which I discuss briefly in this post.

I conducted an experiment in which I tested receptacles with different wiring problems. I tested each wiring configuration with both a three-light tester and a SureTest circuit analyzer. I will show the results of each of these tests so that you can see the advantages and the limitations of these two devices.
